Lagos- Air Nigeria will cooperate with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to ensure that issues relating to the suspension of its domestic and regional flight operations are resolved, a statement said.
The airline’s Head of Media Relations, Mr Sam Ogbogoro, said in an online statement in Lagos on Monday that the airline had operated strictly in compliance with safety regulations and had at no time compromised on standards.
“The International Air Transport Association Operational Safety Audit (IATAOSA) programme employs internationally recognised quality audit principles which we have adhered to.
“The consecutive successes recorded by Air Nigeria in the last five years have clearly showed a demonstration of commitment to safety standards.
“Air Nigeria affirms its continuous compliance with all laid down operational and maintenance regulations of the NCAA, International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and IATA,’’ the statement said.
It, however, stated that the airline’s scheduled Lagos –London – Lagos flight operations were not affected by the suspension order. (NAN)
