The Kaduna State Government has , Wednesday, relaxed the 24-hour curfew imposed on the state.
The government announced this in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to Gov. Patrick Yakowa on Media, Mr Reuben Buhari in Kaduna.
The government placed the curfew on April 18, following a political violence that engulfed the state.
This was sequel to the protest by some angry youths against the result of the presidential election released by INEC, alleging that it was rigged in favour of the ruling PDP.
The statement said the curfew had been relaxed from noon to 5p.m. on Wednesday.
The statement added that the curfew had also been relaxed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Thursday to Sunday (April 21-24).
It quoted Yakowa, calling on residents to remain calm and law abiding as government was doing everything to restore normalcy to the state.
